A chapter of my life has ended. I just came back from the airport. Sending off a couple who has been relocated back to the US. They have impacted Cheng & I greatly. We are who we are because of the time and love Ps Derek & Susan have invested.
We have so much in common…
In 1995, all of us came to City Harvest Church. When I entered into Usher Ministry, Ps Derek was also assigned as the Ushering Pastor for the ministry. When I have the desire to come on full time in 1999… Ps Derek approached me to be his PA. Since then there was no looking back. 12 years is not very long. Wish it could be longer. There are still so many things I can learn from him.
Susan being such a good friend & mentor has helped me become a better person, a better husband, a better father. My marriage became stronger. We wish they could stay. But we know God has a greater purpose for them in the US.
